Vagabond Warrior

"Then it's true?! They hired you for only twenty pieces of gold, Jubei?!"
"Yeah."

The Vagabond Warrior (VWr) wanders the land, living with little more than the clothing on his back and the weapon at his side. Weapon masters of wide renown, Vagabonds often perform monumental tasks and absurdly dangerous quests for little more than a pouch of a couple hundred silver and some food.

Requirements:
To qualify to become a Vagabond Warrior, a character must fulfill the following criteria:
Base Attack Bonus: +6
Skills: Survival: 5 ranks
Knowledge (Geography): 5 ranks
Feats: Alertness
Proficiencies: At least one Martial or Exotic Melee Weapon.
Stats: Intelligence of 13
Special: The character must have spent at least 4 years of their life living with nothing more than their weapon and a combined total of 50 gold's worth of possessions or less, and must have spent this time wandering from area to area, never settling in the same place for more than a month or so.

Class Skills:
The Vagabond Warrior's Class Skills (and key ability for each skill) are Bluff (Cha), Craft (Int), Escape Artist (Dex), Gather Information (Cha), Heal (Wis), Knowledge: Geography (Int), Profession (Int), Sense Motive (Wis), Sleight of Hand (Dex), Survival (Wis), Swim (Str), Use Rope (Dex).

Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int Modifier.

Class Features: All of the following are class features for the Vagabond Warrior prestige class:

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Vagabond Warrior is proficient with all Simple and Martial Weapons, but not Armor or Shields (Unless he already possessed such proficiencies).

Wily Warrior (Ex): The Vagabond Warrior is a cunning strategist, and he does not require armor to keep his body from harm. The Vagabond Warrior adds his Intelligence Bonus (if any) to his Armor Class, as well as half his levels of Vagabond Warrior rounded down.

Iron Will (Ex): The Vagabond Warrior gains the benefits of the Iron Will feat as long as he does not become soft. (See Ex-Vagabond Warriors.)

Heroic Surge (Ex): The Vagabond Warrior can choose to concentrate his focus, and instead of making multiple attacks, he can choose to make one devastating charge with a melee weapon which causes an additional 1d6 damage. At Level 5, this increases to an additional 2d6, at Level 7 this becomes an additional 3d6, and at Level 10 this becomes an additional 4d6 damage. This damage does not stack with Sneak Attack damage.

Valued Gift (Ex): If the Vagabond Warrior is gifted with an item of great value, that single item does not count towards the Vagabond Warrior's gold limit. This increases to two items at Level 4, three items at Level 7, and finally four items at Level 10. A "gift" is any item taken from a slain enemy, or one given to him that he does not request or expect. The Vagabond Warrior is under no compulsion to refuse these gifts unless it would put him over his Valued Gift limit.

Danger Sense (Ex): The Vagabond Warrior has become so in tune with his own body and his surroundings, that he can react to any danger as if he were aware of it. The Vagabond Warrior is never flat-footed unless complete immobilized by a spell or physical restriction.

Lightning Disarm (Ex): If an enemy attacks with a melee weapon and misses, the Vagabond Warrior can choose to attempt a disarm at the cost of one of his Attacks of Opportunity. The Disarm attempt is made at the Vagabond Warrior's highest Base Attack Bonus.

Grim Determination (Ex): The Vagabond Warrior may continue to fight until he is -10 HP (Whereupon he falls unconscious), and he does not actually die from his wounds until he reaches -(10+Vagabond Level) HP. If the Vagabond Warrior finishes the fight and has not yet recovered to a positive number of HP, he falls unconscious and takes a temporary point of Strength damage for every point below 0 he is (though this can reduce him only to a minimum of 1 Strength).

Bloody Laughter (Ex): The Vagabond Warrior has faced and accepted his fears, and now laughs in the face of then. He is immune to any fear effects, and is in fact emboldened by any such effects, gaining a +1 Morale Bonus to Strength and Constitution, and a +3 Morale Bonus to all saves.

I'll Greet You At The Gates of Hell (Ex): If the Vagabond Warrior is ever reduced below 0 damage, he may make a free attack against the enemy who did it (provided they are within range), and deals Heroic Surge damage if he hits.

Death Dealer (Ex): If the Vagabond Warrior deals 10 or more damage with any Heroic Surge attack he makes, his opponent takes 1 temporary point of Constitution damage.

Ex-Vagabond Warriors: A Vagabond Warrior loses access to all class abilities if the total value of his possessions (excluding one weapon) rises above 50 gold. If the Vagabond Warrior willingly has more than 50 gold's worth of items on his person, he loses access to his class abilities. He does not gain them back until he can regain the edge he had, honed from living with no more than his weapon and his wits. This is a process which takes 1d4 days per level of Vagabond.
